National Stop on Red Week

August 02, 2010|By Sun SentinelThis week, authorities will be on the lookout for red-light runners for National Stop on Red Week.
From Aug. 2-8, Florida Highway Patrol troopers will work with local law enforcement to hand out the $158 citation to those who don't stop at the traffic signals.
According to FHP, more than 5,000 people were injured last year from a crash where someone failed to stop at a red light.
